It inoculates W32.Elkern.4926 files that has been repaired during the removal process to prevent another infection by W32/Klez worm malware.

Removal instruction:

1. Download and save the file in Desktop (or other convenient directory like portable USB drive).
2. Please close all running applications.
3. Disable System Restore utility (Windows XP and Me). In some cases removal procedure is not successful because the System Restore still running.
4. Double click on the FixKlez.com to start the W32/Klez worm removal software.
5. Restart your computer as usual to complete the process.
6. Turn on System Restore (for Windows Me and XP)

Definition of W32/Klez - It is a variant of worm that has ability to spread using Sophos emails. These fake emails is never sent by Sophos at the first place. The email forged by Win32 worm carries W32/ElKern-C virus in compressed copy and drop the copy into the Program File directory within hard drive and execute itself. W32/Klez-H worm capable to duplicate itself into Windows system directory. The malicious worm create random filename that has EXE extension and begins with the characters "wink".

The nasty malware capable to search for email addresses within the address book. The "From:" field of email contains one from the email addresses it scraps before or an email address from a list that the worm virus has. W32/Klez worm also searches for files with the following extensions:
